Liquid Butadiene Oligomer
NISSO-PB

Product Description

NISSO-PB is a liquid butadiene oligomer, which is obtained using the anion living polymerization process.

Oligomers mix well with olefin resins. Due to the presence of both carbon and hydrogen, using our oligomers for products like coatings, adhesives, elastomers and molding yields superior water and chemical resistance, excellent electricity characteristics, and good mechanical hardness and heat resistance.

Characteristic of NISSO-PB

  • About 90% of oligomer frameworks are 1,2-vinyl bond.
  • An extremely high activity is shown to have the functional group such as a vinyl group,
        hydroxyl group, carboxyl group.
  • It has excellent affinity with polyolefin resin.
  • It is highly vibrate-resist at ordinary temperatures.
  • It operates and processess extremely well because it is a liquid resin.
  • Harmful gases such as chloride and nitrogen oxide, are not produced even if the
        oligomer is burned.
  • It forms an elastic polymer with a pendentant island structure.
  • Products cured by crosslinking NISSO-PB have good hardness, good water-resistance,
good chemical-resistance, good mechanical hardness and good heat-resistance.
  • Specific gravity becomes 1.0 or less and extremely light cured resin.

    Hydrogenated Polybutadienen Resin

Hydrogenated polybutadienen resin is produced by hydrogenation of all parts of the unsaturated double bonds, giving it flexibility and an affinity to polyolefin resin. It has excellent electricity characteristics, is moisture-resistant, water-resistant and chemical-resistant. Heat cycle nature etc. and be excellent to the characteristic of the affinity to flexibility, polyolefin system resin.
